| Wow! This place is like a ghost town! Perfect time to post I guess....close to Halloween. Oh man! It's been forever! I don't know where to start. Life is insane! Yet incredible! It's so difficult, but God is continually proving himself faithful. He is my comfort, my support, and my shelter! So, I finally graduated high school this last summer! BOOYA! And now I'm a full time college student! Fun stuff, right? w/e! My family started foster care back in April. And it has been one of the most challenging things, yet one of the biggest blessings in my life! It's amazing to get to be a part of these precious children's lives. They teach me sooo much. And force me to think of others, rather than just myself. Our first foster babe left after being with us for a couple of months. Wow. That was hard. We fell so in love with him, and then he was torn from us. So hard. But I believe he's in a decent home now, and better than that, he has God and his angels watching out for and over him! :) He's in the hands of his maker who loves him more than I ever did or could. And that gives me peace. My other two little foster brothers are stealing more of my heart every day. Slipping their way into my affections, and melting my heart. These precious babes light up my life, brighten my day. Every time Aiden runs to me and gives me a hug, I just want to pick him up and squeeze him to death, smoothering him in all the love I have for him. Every time Acey smiles showing his sharp baby teeth and giggles his precious baby chuckle, I just want to pick him up, spin him around, and hug him as tight as I can and never let go. Ah! I just love him more than words could say! It is so awesome though. I recently saw a short video clip by the guy who wrote "Crazy Love" (I still haven't read that book, but definitely want to). Explaining the love he has for his daughters made me think so much of how I feel about Aiden and Acey. He was talking about being a father and loving his daughters soooo much. And then he began talking about how God, loving Jesus more than we could ever love anyone, gave him for us, because he loves us! Ah! It's amazing! And how Jesus loves us sooo much, that he CHOSE to die for us. Not just die, but endure abuse, rejection, temptation, torture, and so much more. Because he LOVES us! You honestly cannot love or understand love till you experience love and realize you are loved. But my main point is this: When we love someone so much, more than we could ever express, then, we can think about God's love, knowing that it is more than we could ever give ourselves, and realize how much YOU ARE LOVED! Ah! It's sooo exciting!!! God is Amazing! He is soooo GREAT! And "His Love Endures FOREVER!!!!" |
